Will I have time to discover the whole world? I hope so.

ABOUT ME

I'm a busy retired teacher. I love to see my 5 children and 6 grandchildren. When I'm at home I like to read or paint. I have a big garden so that keeps busy too. I love travelling and to make travel books. I'm involved in several associations (english club, twinning club,...) and as member of the town council I do my best to improve other people's life. I really enjoy cultural outtings. Friendship is important for me and meeting people too. There is always something to learn from others.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to love others and help them every time it is possible. I want peace on earth and try to do my best to reach that aim. Travelling and being a host is a way to do it. Being involved in social life through associations or the council is another way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't really have coachsurfing experience. But when I travel I try to meet others and enable myself to know them better and learn about their life style. I've met lovely people in Cambodia for example.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love celtic music, Linda Lemay, Enya, jazz, classical music...
I read a lot in french and in english, all kind of books...
I often go out to see movies but I like most of them so it is difficult to make a list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last amazing thing I saw was Ankgor in Cambodia. It is a beautiful place. The temples and scarvings are so exceptionnal. I brke my foot while I was there and people were so kind to me, so helpful. It was a lovely experience.

I can teach french and english. I've got a lot to learn in painting and would like to share what I know.
