Well, okay. I'm not very good at describing myself, but I'll try. So, the name my parents chose for me is Maureen, but most of my friends usually call me Joey (no one really knows why :D), so please feel free to call me that too, I'm fine with both. I like to draw and craft, I'm in love with old and analogue cameras (especially Polaroids), I like to read (preferably books with a looot of pages), geek out over Doctor Who, bingewatch tv series, I'm interested in pretty much everything.
Other than that I'm a chaosperson, a vegan, I plan my year according to rock festival, I love animals and they love me ;P, I'm a bit lazy but sometimes have hyperactive phases where I can't sit still, at first I'm usually a bit shy and quiet (I'm really bad at small talk and stuff), but after a while I can talk with no end.
Stuff that's important to me: my bed, pencils, GoMaxGo candy bars, other peoples pets, the Jolly 48 coloured pens collection, avocados, my cameras (yes. plural.), my mp3 player, physical books, Kernöl, green apples, etc.
I'm pretty sure I can be a bit nerdy (about movies, comics/manga, books) sometimes and appear strange. I'm also not the type to go to clubs and stuff. I much more enjoy to sit in a bar and have a drink, or go to concerts, parties, a spontaneous walk through the woods,... whatever comes up.
Hope that description isn't too daunting. ;)
music, books, cameras, comics/mangas, movies/TV series, history, drawing, science stuff I'm too dumb to understand... pretty much anything really.
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't like to discern stuff in genres very much but here are some examples. Also, I'm going with all time favourites because otherwise I'll have to update this everyday (;
Music: Alternative, Indie, Rock, Punk, Ska, some Classic, a bit Metal, some Musicals,... but I'm pretty much open to everything and I try to listen to new things with an open mind, regardless of genre, and then decide if I like it or not.
Random selction of movies and series: Into the wild, Stranger than fiction, Donnie Darko, Hallam Foe, Charlie Bartlett, Frida, Chocolat, Fight Club, Kick-Ass, Der Knochenmann, Das ewige Leben, What we do in the shadows, Juno, Safety not guaranteed, Antman, In Burges, Lars and the real girl, Pacific Rim (yes, huge robots fightig huge monsters, whats not to like?) Dr. Who, House M.D., Torchwood, Queer as folk (british as well as american version), Black Books, Sherlock, Pushing Daisies, Bones, Parks & Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, American Horror Story, Firefly, Orphan Black, Sense8, Top of the lake...aaaand lots of other stuff I can't think of right now. Also, bad horror movies are the best kind of comedy. :)
Books/Manga/Graphic Novels: Absolutley anything that catches my attetion in any way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I don't really have any kind of special talents I could teach about, (except maybe how to make a kickass vegan cheesecake) but I'm always open to learn stuff. (;
