关于我
CURRENT MISSION
To learn spanish and enjoy some freedom inbetween university and work!
ABOUT ME
Finished my law degree at the end of January - was on exchange in Utrecht, Nederlands, for my last semester. Fantastic time there and now trying to learn spanish before starting work at home in Sydney as a consultant in August. Don´t actually have any consulting experience so should be interesting... My dream at the moment is to learn enough spanish to be able to come back to south america and work for a few years. The company i am going to start working for in Sydney has a few offices in South America so fingers crossed i can transfer after a little while.
Generally, i love to travel and see new places, but also love to settle into a place and really get to know it. Enjoy sports - in the past rugby and cricket and athletics, but have recently been converted to a Boca Junios Fan (football).
Consider myself friendly, open-minded, relaxed, curious, and fun. Love the beach (i surf but badly), enjoy having a few beers, dancing after those few beers.
Have bought a guitar on my travels and am very slowly trying to teach myself...
PHILOSOPHY
I don´t want my life to be ordinary. Don´t want to wake up at 50 hating my job and working long hours to support a lifestyle i don´t really need. But that said, don´t really know what i want to do with myself!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Been in a protest on a main road in La Paz Bolivia. Our airline went on strike and we were stuck outside the office waiting for a refund that never came. Joined a spontaneous protest with the other Bolivianos waiting outside the office and cut off a pretty majoy road. The amazing part was that we stayed put when the riot police marched down the road at us. According to the locals who reassured us and simply stood their ground and argued with the police, nothing happens in Bolivia without a protest!

It is very easy to forget how little you can live on as a traveller when you return home and become surrounded by a corporate world, consumerist dreams and money driven dreams. Find away to remind yourself that there are many paths that we can take in life.
