About Me

Searching The Meaning Of Life

Many, many things to say...

Will update this sometime later as I have written quite a bit in here today...

I used to see myself as an island in the middle of the ocean, but as of now, I think that the universe is like a whole. Every person, every thought, every situation, is the same as many other were before, and many more will be. You are the same as your brother, your sister, your pet, the work colleague you can't stand and so on.

Life is a wonderful experience which its only objetive is to be lived.

Life it's full of happiness, wealth and heart-touching experiences, only waiting to be taken.

Everyday is like a fresh start, where we can decide where's the limit. And the moment we see that there's no limit, and that life is just as we want it to be, we will become free/happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Scroll down this box if you want to know more about me...

My experience as couchsurfer has been soooo loooong, but unrelated to this webpage. As many have done, I have CouchSurfed at family and friend's places.

From almost every country in Europe, to the US and Canada.

I've been an anxious traveller since I was 2 years old. My parents are also compulsive travelers. They lived in South America before I was born, then settled in Spain.

At the age of 2, I went with my granny to Seville to visit some family. I kept on doing those visits until the age of 6, age at which I did my first travel alone (to Seville too).

With 10 years old, I had my first trans-oceanic experience.

It was to Boston, and it was the first year I had studied english (as my mother was from Austria, I spoke german by that time).

Due to weather problems, my flight was delayed so I lost the connection at the JFK airport, but somehow, the luggage managed to arrive to Boston to the right terminal, not as the owner.

The owner (me) was in some other airport terminal, as empty as the desert in august, at midnight, without his belongings (tragic for someone born under the sign of Cancer), with no clue of what the hell was happening.

(The air hostess supposed to watch me dissapeared at JFK)

Finally I followed the main safety recomendation given to me in my childhood: "When in trouble, look for the man wearing an uniform"

So there I went...

Talked to a cleaner of the airport, which took me to a counter where a crewmember of an airline contacted the other terminal, where some family-friends were waiting for me... with my luggage.

The worst of all is that I was not scared, not for even a second. It was like being on an adventure movie...

My interests?

It will always amaze me the stupidity of the human being when we act as "mass". And it will always amaze me the grandness of nature when seeing things like Niagara Falls, Sequoia Park, Mt. Everest, Ayers Rock, Grand Canyon, Iceland...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach few things about computers and photography, psychology and very few things more. I am mostly a student of life.
