I love to travel, but everytime i come home i am so happy to be back in Montreal.

Communication is key to progress

One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to mistake what the source of your own happiness is (yes i'm still working on that one but what i mean is something the along the lines of find out who you really are and live your life to the fullest...or live your life to the fullest to find out who you really are?? hmmm interesting...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now i am a first time user and creating this profile in order to introduce myself to fellow couch surfers. I am planning a trip to europe this summer and hoping to begin my couch surfing experience. I love to travel, i think its a very important part of who i am, and couch surfing seems to be right down my alley. I think it promotes meeting with new people from new cultures, getting in on the "local view" of a new place and of corse cheap travel!!

Prospectively lots! But so far i don't have any experience, and i am very open to learning aaall about it.

Interessen

Being active, hiking, horse riding, all kinds of sports; nature(kayak or canoe camping); arts especially cinema; Travel!! becoming more open minded, discovering new points of view on the world!; cooking, i love food in general aaalll kinds indian, french, lenbanese...could go on for ever and i love preparing it too; health science i but a rooky when it comes to that but i plan on making it my future with great determination!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

i have a very diverse taste in music from Nina Simone, to Janis Joplin to Led Zeppelin, Schubert, Mozart, and Bob Dylan! oouu and recently ive been quite the Feist fan.
Books: Le Horla, Guy de Maupassant; Les Fourmis, Bernard Werber; La vie devant soi, Emile Ajar; Tout l'univers dans un atom (still in progress), the Dalai-Lama; His Dark Materials trilogy (golden compass etc.), Pullman.
Movies: Run Lola Run, Magnolia, Persepolis, Maman est chez le coiffeur, Taxi, M is for murder, strangers on a train, Seabiscuit, Fantasia, Amadeus, After the Wedding, What the bleep do we know (but i do think you need to take some and leave some for those of you who have seen it),The Professional, Le Pere Noel est une Ordure, Diner de Cons, Little Miss Sunshine...one of the things that really makes me appreciate life is a really well done movie.

Trekked up in the Indian pre-himalayas 4200 meters to a sacred hindu lake.

i have studied in international social sciences and lived in India for 3 months. There my environment was my classroom, amazing experience of culture exchange.
I think knowledge is greatest form of freedom so i am very interested in learning and sharing.
