ABOUT ME

I love my life and can't imagine being happier doing anything else. I am 28, single, and stable. I love teaching, traveling and performing. Every summer I embark on an adventure and travel to expand my horizons. I think CS is a great way to get into the under cultures of the places I visit, and I welcome new experiences and opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to serve the youth (especially "at-risk" youth). I balance motivating the unmotivated with preparing the college bound in order to help them remove intellectual barriers that prevent them from achieving their wildest dreams! My life philosophy is educated from the understanding that the only thing we have is now...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now (summer '08) I am looking to connect with people on my journey through the SW US...Flagstaff to Las Vegas...during the academic year I would enjoy hosting when possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While taking a year off between H.S. and college, I backpacked Europe. Since I was on a tight budget I often used my magic performances to meet people in social areas and often times they would invite me into their homes for the night. It was incredible to experience how trusting people can be of complete strangers! I am excited to pay it forward!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything, my favorite book is Siddhartha, the best book I have ever read is The Brothers Karamozov, and I am currently reading Lonesome Dove, and Atlas Shrugged (slowly).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

World Record holder in the 125 mile relay (jk..there is only one!)
Backpacked the entire Sierra Mountain Range, north to south and east to west.
3rd best Mrs. Pac-Man player in the world (jk...but I think I am pretty damn good!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I teach English and am quite the grammatarian (if that's not a word...it should be:)) As aforementioned, I am a magician and love to share/teach sincere audiences.
