About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to finish my mural at the barn

ABOUT ME

A complete music nerd, I mostly sit around and listen to music.
I like the simple life, I live in a barn, water the garden, with the water re-routed from the shower, learn how to make delicious pies that are raw/vegan/sugar-free.
I enjoy all genres of music, grew up traveling to bluegrass and old-time festivals around California with my father in an orange pop-top van. I like civil-war era American music, jazz, early punk rock, psychedelia, late 70s metal. My friends and family are very involved in the freak folk/ southern country rock/ bluegrass scene in Los Angeles. We are all a bunch of weirdos.
I enjoy movies from the thirties, mostly, pre-hollywood code cartoons (before 1934), just trying to give you an idea of the variety of things I am about. I think it is important to have a good sense of humor about things, especially who we are.
I am herb friendly, although I don't smoke more than once or twice a week, enjoy my wine, my whiskey, although I am definitely not a lush.
I love folklore, history, appalachian clogging, intelligent people with something interesting to offer the world. Good, genuine, authentic people.

PHILOSOPHY

to learn more, live more, love more, share more,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I intend to find a home where I can share what I have to give with people who will appreciate it. Unfortunately, I have naught but a wooden floor of the barn I currently reside in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't couch surfed through this site, yet I met some hitch-hiking kids in Venice, let them stay at my house for a week, then went to Denver to visit them for a week, where I stayed on there couch, then they came to Portland to see me, and I put up four beautiful wonderful lovely of them in my house. I have built strong blossoming friendships with them. I fell in Love.
