Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Besides couching guests, I usually take guest around my remote beautiful village. We meet the local people and share their experiences. My village is hilly and nice and many guest have always suggested a sunset hike to the hills. We have a wonderful falls just near my place, The Fourteen Falls and a visit to it pays for a life time. My people are welcoming and CFsers have always wished to stay longer with them.If I have time and CFers wish, I may accompany CFs in some of their safaris.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had met Roc immediately after the world social Forum couching a nearby couch. We became friends and soon little did I knew that I were to accompany him in the rest of his stay in Kenya. I had just finished high school and I was very idle, but I was oftenly introduced to CFers by a close relative who used to come with CFers to my village. I had always enjoyed taking them around for some few days in the village.But I had no idea where my friend used to get in touch with them.The idea of white's in my village was quite new to my people.

Interests

I would like to start a slave camp.Its a funny and a crazy idea.In the camp site, it will virtually be whitemen doing old chores that whitemen used to force our great grandparents to do during the colonial times.There will be a pre-camp orientation. The volunteers will be treated like slaves and they will be expected to submit fully maybe for a week or depending on how long they will be willing to.It will be so unique and even some have volunteered to be the first slaves in the camp.It will be located in my remote village,Mukuyuni, 60km away from Nairobi. It will be an experience CFs will never miss in Kenya and in their life.

Climbed the snow caped famous Mt. Kenya and witnessed wild beast cross Mara river in the magnificient Masai Mara game reserve, an event that has been declared the seven wonders of the world.
