My current mission, aside from simply living in this world and graduating from college, is to enjoy my life. Painfully unoriginal, I admit, but about as to the point as I can be.
I'm an odd person, or so I've been told. I consider myself a warrior-poet, for lack of a better term. I've dabbled in multiple things, from religion to professions, and have gained much experience from this. My history is something that is not private to me, and will gladly share it with any and all that are interested. I didn't have much of a family growing up, so my friends are my family. The second you become my friend, you become family to me, and family means the world to me. I read books, constantly, ranging from fiction to philosophy, my favorites including all Stephen King novels and the philosophy and popular culture series (especially Metallica and philosophy), and would happily engage in philosophic debate with anyone who'd let me surf the couch.
I feel as though I'm a philosopher at heart. I identify with the works of Bertrand Russel and Thomas Aquinas the most. Through my own thoughts and studies of life, I feel I have discovered the meaning to my life. As to why I live my life, I live it because I have seen too much to really wanna see more. I consider life to be a long dream that happens right before we truly wake up and see what there is to be seen, and I thoroughly enjoy living this dream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm fairly new to this, and am simply working my way into it. Give me time, and I'll definitely contribute to this site and its endeavors. Also, be on the lookout for a guy who says he will run across the US if one million people join his facebook group. Read his stuff and you'll see how I came across this site.
Pretty much living at home on my couch for a year and a half. Other than that, staying in various boot camps and the occasional barn. There was a week long period in which I was homeless, but rather than actually go to anyone, I decided to be homeless for real. The experience taught me a valuable lesson in life...as well as how to jump a razor wire fence to avoid being eaten by wild dogs. :-)
I hope to one day be able to say that I've couch-surfed my way around this great world, but, all journeys must begin with the first step.
Reading and writing, professional wrestling (did wrestle in my homestate for a bit, loved it!), billiards, travel, comic books/graphic novels, debate, and much more than I feel like listing here.

Depends on your definition of amazing. Ask me and we'll find out together.
Teach, Learn, Share
For now, I will leave you with these words from Bertrand Russel, with a promise to leave insights whenever I can.
'Few people can be happy unless they hate some other person, nation, or creed.'
Sadly, this is true, and for those of you who would disagree, I ask you this: do you not hate murders, killers, sadistic beings who enjoy cruelty? All people hate, just as all people love. This is not immoral, but human nature. The difference, though, is when hatred begins to rule your life instead of love.
