ABOUT ME

Let's see...I'm a 27 year-old gal that is looking for a change of scenery for a little while. I have done very little traveling in my short life and I'm looking forward to a great experience of seeing how the rest of the world lives.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short. Everyone of us has the possibility to be happy and it is almost always under our own control - so be happy!

I also read this great quote the other day:
"Be wary of anything that comes into your life and makes it more difficult - whether it be a relationship or an extra newspaper subscription - try to shift from complexity to simplicity."

Interests

I'm a jock-ette at heart. I love to play/watch/argue about almost any sport out there...especially tennis (Federer/Nadal Wimbledon final was crazy!!) and basketball (yes I am a Raptors fan, even when they make it so hard to love them).

I love to read and am always open to recommendations from others....currently I'm reading Into the Wild and its been a pretty good read so far.

And I love to just be outside around people. I'm a fan of people watching, whether it be from a patio with beers or on a park bench in the 'burbs, seeing the way others carry on with their lives is fascinating.
