About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am a musician seeking support to fund a tour
ABOUT ME
I'm interested in how music heals you! I play banjo, mandolin, guitar and sing. I'm a music teacher, science teacher, and carry live reptiles to classes on my bicycle. I'm about to release a new album www.stitchcraftmusic.com
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that if I'm not doing what makes me thrive and grow, I'm doing myself a dis-service. I try not to be too attached to my STUFF and the people who I love - so not to prevent others from growing as well. I also believe that there is an important balance between movement and stillness, which is important to acknowledge in traveling communities. I have to move from a grounded place in order to connect myself with what is important to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm couch surfing right now. I live in SF and periodically move out of my house to save money and share living spaces temporarily with friends. I'm in someone's backyard in a tent now, which is a little beyond the typical. I've traveled in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, often staying on couches or tiki huts, and have road tripped across the US as well, but the houses were mostly friends and acquaintances.
