After so good experiences by the past, I want my family to know what a travel can be with CS... more colored!
We are currently in SLovenia because my husband has been relocated to build the new Twingo (Renault) in Novo Mesto, for one year. So, this is time for a big change of lifestyle!! From Paris to Novo Mesto: yahouu!!!
My family is very important to me. I could say that everything is better with them.
Marc, my husband (1981), is very curious of everything new. He likes sharing experiences about life in general, technology, society, history, and spiritual search. He works in a french car company (Renault). He designs the assembly lines of new plants. He speaks english, espagnol and german.
Lucille, my little princess (04/2011), is a bright little girl, full of life. She likes to observe before acting, and if you let her get close by herself, she will easily provide you with a smile.
Augustin, my little gentleman (12/2012), is a cute baby. You can't prevent yourself from smiling if you look at him and if you give him some attention :)
I am calm and quiet, but I also like having fun, dancing rock'n'roll, cooking, discovering new cultures, try new tastes.
Friendship takes an important place in my life.
I love traveling, in France or in other parts of the world. When I travel, I feel really alive.
In France, I worked in a geriatric hospital. Elderly people teach me how to enjoy the present, and overcome prejudices and conventions. I understand so much this sentence: "When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground". I speak english and espagnol.
-> At the end of my life, I don't want to say: "I should have done that when I could."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Everytime I meet someone who doesn't know about CS, I talk about it as much as I can. I convinced a few people yet :)
I joined 2 CS meetings in Japan, and I organised a hanami (picnic under a cherry tree in Japan) with other couchsurfers.
I surfed couches in New Zealand and in Japan. I felt like I socialised more in 3 months than in 5 years :) It's like a drug now, and I think it changed my mind because now it's not the same, I share far more things with strangers wherever I go.
I like horses because they are like human-beings. They all have their own personality, their own intelligence. When they trust and when they are respected, they serve with grace and goodwill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One night in the Thar Desert (Rajasthan, India 2008), with camels and... scorpions, under the stars and fighting against a strong wind.
Early in the morning, covered with sand, a beautiful sunrise awakened us.
All around my mattress, full of traces in the sand: beetles and scorpions had visited us. Fortunately I didn't share my "couch" with these frightening guests!
