HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I`ve been engaging with CS users for the last 3 years. I lived in London for almost two years and there I used to go to CS meetings and to promote my own CS meetings in the places I used to play with my band. Now back to Brazil, I decided to go deeper in my CS experience by welcoming people home from all over the world. I want to show them the places I like and usually go to. Things that I’ve just discovered because someone told me. My favorites places, friends, food and cultural attractions in Sao Paulo. I intend to learn and grow with them and to cause some difference in their lives to. After that, it will be my turn to meet other people and places, and to grow and have fun with the experience.

I am pretty interested in music, films, books, people and talk about everything, mostly in a bar with cold beer and good music. I am fascinated by traveling - cultures, places, people, things, nature, philosophies, theories, myths, cults, ideas, research, foods, religions, moments!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe knowledge can come from everywhere and everyone. And the exchange that CS encourages is the most important thing in human existence.
Let me list some things I might be able to share. I think I can share some of Brazilian’s costumes. Our great music (samba, chorinho, bossa nova, baião) and fantastic food (feijoada, comida mineira, garapa, comida baiana, cachaça), and our behavior: Brazilian people are very warm and friendly, and we don’t fear touching each other (*it’s a general custom and not necessarily to do with sexual appeal or deep intimacy).
