live well, love much, laugh often.
i listen more often than i speak, i can't get my mind off of something once it's locked onto the target.I grew up in a small town in italy. when that felt too small i moved to NYC and fell in love. when that felt too american, we moved to london. So far, so good.now the american, our italian cat and our british kitten and i live, read, create and cook together in our flat in hackney. Our current situation temporarily limits my passion for hosting, although coffee (Italian, moka) or tea are always in (and on the stove)!while in italy, i worked as a part time customer service employee in ikea, it's been part of a natural process to take this job, both because i really like the brand and because i like (and i feel good) being helpful to other people.before it became exageratedly expensive, i developed a mad crush on polaroid pictures, i took a shot of almost everybody that stepped into my house, the fact these pictures are unique (in the literal meaning of the word, no negative, no file, nothing) compared to this almost totally replicable world, really fascinates me.the natural evolution of that is that now i'm a sucker for lomography too; add that to my kindle intolerance, and you have a pretty analog guy.i love cooking and spending time in the kitchen, for me preparing food is putting in act a will of precision, desire, care, taste and gift, and the food tradition of my region helps me a lot in this way!i'm firmly atheist and that's probably the main reason i'm stunned everytime i take an larger view on life (mine or others') and/or anything that surrounds me.
the reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when opportunity knocks, they are out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers. w.p. chrysler
