ABOUT ME

i think that it is hard to describe me and that is why my user name is rhymes with purple because nothing can really capture what that means, but i will try. i have said it before but i am VERY extroverted, i love meeting people and talking to them, sharing experiences. I am also enjoy listening to music and going to concerts. I write in my spare time, mostly short stories and poems, but i'm building up to something bigger. i will be a teacher one day because i want to give back and encourage others to seek knowledge and also give back what they gain from life. I am an active person who enjoys sports and being outside. I ran track and crosscountry and wrestled in high school. i believe that life is a great mystery and do not intend to unravel that mystery but instead take part in it and share my experiences from that journey with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couch surfed but i have traveled a bit and plan to do much more of it. I have gone all through california and also the south (alabama, georgia, tennessee, etc.). I have also been to alaska and canada and newyork, but the best trip was to italy, so i'd like to go back some time. I have a road trip coming up soon so i will let you know how that goes.

兴趣

i love the outdoors more than anything, nature is the greatest beauty and i am living in it right now while at UC Santa Cruz. I love to run and hike and boogie board, play ultimate fisbee and have bonfires. As long as i can be outside i don't really care what i'm doing, either alone or sharing it with amazing people.

音乐、电影和书籍

i grew up on classic rock from the 60s onward. I do however have very eclectic taste when it comes to music. i will listen to almost everything. Punk, clasic rock, hard rock, indie rock, variations of pop, the blues, jazz, motown, rap, hip hop, dance, a bit of classical, and even some country now and then. If you want to talk music we can talk music. I also couldn't possible name all my favorite movies but i am kind of a horror lover. I also enjoy classics like the sting and cat on a hot tin roof, but also 80s stuff like the labyrinth, the breakfast club, the princess bride, and also john cusack movies.
As far as books go all i can say is that i am a literature major, so books kind of rule my life right now.

I started and took part in a girls wrestling movement in northern california. I also plan on skydiving in the near future.

i know literature and how it works to a certain extend, but i am still learning. I would love to meet teachers or fellow students of literature. I wish to know how life is lived in other countries or even just other US states. I also wish i learn more about mysticism and the search for light and truth.
