ABOUT ME

I seek a travel companion.I am a British man, retired-early from a long career in television production and journalism. I am free to go travelling from October to Christmas 2012 with NO time limit all over Spain in my large 7 metres long motorhome ( which has two separate sleeping compartments and plenty of bedding and blankets) and I seek one mature travel companion, to share the fun of travelling all over Spain and Portugal, and later France and Italy, and other countries in Europe at a slow easy pace and never hurrying........visiting many cities and places of cultural interest.Join me when you can .... and leave me when you have to.Please see my many photos and contact me, and if you are already somewhere nearby in Spain I might drive to meet you in a café or a restaurant near to where you are now, and there we could discuss the possibility of travelling together for many weeks ..... or possibly months ..... sharing the fun, and sharing the costs of our food and diesel fuel, which will cost you much less money than travelling around by bus, and eating in restaurants, and of course your accomodation in the motorhome is FREE with sheets and blankets provided........... and I am happy to do the driving........while you can do the map reading and navigating if you wish to ..... and we will both share the cooking and the washing up....!

I love History, Art, Travel, some Biographies, Philosophy, Science, Technology, Astronomy, and other subjects which educate and broaden the mind.......
and classical literature to nourish the soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I walked 800 kms along the Camino de Santiago in north Spain. It was a fantastic experience, and I want to do it again one day.
