ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a wacky bird and have enjoyed my varied and colourful life so far. I have always wanted to travel and I have been fortunate enough to be able to do this with family and friends. Now it is time to branch off on my tod and experience things for myself. I have been teaching Art in secondary schools for two years here in the UK and I hope to teach a little abroad aswell. A big part of becoming a teacher was the option to travel with the qualification.
I do love Art and all things creative and positive.

I come from a pretty big family and I have spent many a holiday or travel experience with them in some way, either I went with various factions of them or I met them abroad because they live there and I have taken advantage of the opperunity of their local knowledge and sometimes a spare bed.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to add to the richness and diversity that is the human race. I hope to do good, but then, who doesn't?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling about NZ for a year or so and I think that this is a brilliant way of meeting like minded people, getting to know them and the area. Once I stay anywhere for any peroid of time I will offer my couch and give back the kindness I hope to receive.

I can be perseptive and I know about a big chunk about western Art, I hope to gain self confidence and an understanding of what I might be looking for in myself. Being truely on my own without my massive support network to hand (my family) is my deamon and I hope to expel it.
