ABOUT ME

I have a very creative job working in American television. I've walked on some red carpets and wandered through mansions in Beverly Hills. My own lifestyle is much more modest because as an editor I'm more of a "behind the scenes" gal. Fringe to the glam. I love stories that help us understand life, another person, or another land. I travel more than your average American and consider Europe a secondary home. I'm always happy to expand my family of friends!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started and since I'm currently traveling in Europe I'd like to begin as a grateful guest in your fabulous and cozy lair.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only informal up to now. I'm couch surfing as I type in central London at my friend George's flat. I'm a very conscientious and tidy guest. I'll do both our dishes and bring gifts. I'm a self-reliant surfer who can easily amuse myself but also is happy to be guided if you have the time or inclination.

Interests

Food, friends, large bodies of water, forests, farmer's markets, flea markets, theatre, film, photography, city parks, philosophizing, shopping, meditating, yoga, dance, music (used to DJ on radio and at clubs/parties), animals, cinematic journalism, audiobooks, Game of Thrones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie faves: Wings of Desire, Being There, Xanadu, Valley Girl, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, anything by David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, or Almodovar.
Music faves: Donovan, Cat Stevens, Francoise Hardy, Brian Eno, Sigur Ros, Jose Gonzales, Beirut, Neil Young, Kate Bush, Avett Brothers, Beach House, Bon Iver.
Book faves: Anything by David Sedaris. Usually I just read the New Yorker but currently on Hunger Games trilogy. I like sci fi and fantasy books.

Teach, Learn, Share

Filmmaking, especially with regards to editing. Languages to play with are English, French and Italian. I can DJ for you on spotify and introduce you to obscure music you may not have heard before.
