Working hard to visit as many pyrimids/ruins, jungles/ forests, and high mountains as i can.
Yeah well, i have kinda grown up living for adventure.i grew up in the entrance town of Sequoia National Park in California, and of course became an employee.Worked with bears for two years, while pushing my self as a young rock climber, until i met a group of arborists and new i found my dream profession! Moved north and began working for the U.S.Forest service (trail crew/ wild land fire fighter)in the summers and ski resorts in the winter up in Lake Tahoe,Ca. Lots of fun, but,TREES thats what i needed, so again moved deeper into N. Cali and found a position with ISA climbers doing spurless maintenance. Recreational BIG tree climbing in N. Cali is awesome!!! Now i base out of Oakland and for the past three years own my own tree care business. Life is abut chilling while thriving.
Chilling while thriving.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Honestly, i have not. Unfortunately my housing arrangement has not been available to accommodate. Hoping to change this in 2010.
In Sept 08 i was walking down the road in Lihue (Kauai, HI)heading for the highway to the Na Pali coast, when two couch surfers pulled along side inviting me for a beer and a lift up the road. I was not hitch hiking, but the demeanor was light and spirits high. We stopped in At the house of "T", a CS host in the town of Kapaa (i think), a cool dude. His hospitality was unprecedented, inviting me to stay for a party and a couch for the night. Was able to leave a few things at T's house while i spent a week camping out in Kala lau Valley. Hitched a ride back to Kapaa and spent a couple of nights hanging out with the household . good people. The next month i opened my own CS account, but have not yet used it. What a waste.
Of course living in California we like music, and lots of us have dedicated many of our years to the musical community, of which i am certainly one. Festivals and camp outs. I love reggae, but also get in to glitch hop, dubstep, and generally appreciate all good music. DO ART EVERY DAY some how, knowledgeable on gems and minerals, and enjoy people with character. Thats whats up...
