About Me

To see as much of the world as I possibly can

I enjoy travelling and meeting people from all over the world. To me, travelling isn't just about seeing the must-see sights and attractions. It's about making connections with people. On previous vacations, I would always prefer to stay at small bed and breakfast inns or apartment rentals where I can get a feel for the culture and I can actually be a temporary local. I enjoy being immersed in the culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience was in April, 2010 when I was on my 2nd trip to Argentina. I met so many amazing people there through couchsurfing, many of whom I now consider my friends. A few months after that I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and met a couple of other couchsufers. My couchsurfing experiences have allowed me to broaden my travel experiences and I'm looking forward to meeting many more people as I continue to travel the world.

I love dancing salsa and tango, books, movies (classics and indies more so than Hollywood blockbusters), food, cooking and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies, including classics, indies, and foreign flicks. I enjoy listening to Latin music and '80s music as well (early Madonna, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Journey, Asia, Def Leppard). I love reading guidebooks and novels that can sweep me away to a different time and/or place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Wayna Picchu in Peru. It was the most amazing thing I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fairly adept in the kitchen, so I can show you how to cook a few things or maybe even cook you dinner sometime.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, France, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
