Travelling puts you in a heightened state of awareness. It stimulates your brain and makes you call up all your intellectual, spiritual and physical resources. Journeys are necessary for human beings; otherwise we stagnate. Change
We are a norwegian couple living in the small mountainvillage golling, which is good connected with train two times in the hour from salzburg (about 40 minutes traveltime) . Norma is studing and Hans Jörgen is working. We love to travel around, to discover new places nearby and far away, we like to bike and hike in the nature (it`s a lot of romantic places in Austria). Hans Jörgen is dancing balkan - and greece folklore.
The possibility through CS to spend our time with friendly people from everywhere on earth is so exciting, and makes us feel privileged for beeing a part of this project!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
well. we love to travel, that`s for sure(!) and it`s so nice to have the opportunity to get to know different people from all over the world. We also look forward to show our guests around in this magnificent area which we can call our home!
Our first CS-experience was in January 2009 in Germany. Since then we`ve met a lot of friendly people by couchsurfing an some of them we can now count as close friends. we are really greatful for all of those marvelous experiences and look forward to further great experiences with fellow couchsurfers!
travel, hike, fish, bike, develope through learning new (strange?) things, meet people from all over the world , Hans jörgen loves international folkdance and is an excellent coock (the last time Norma prepeared herself a hot meal, she got poisoned. Norma loves cats (hans jörgen is - a little bit- allergic), and Hans Jörgen dogs...so that`s the two of us...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Learn to get in touch with silence within yourself, and know that everything in this life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from"
the must incredible things in our life happen to us every single day - we just need to learn to pay attention to them, and by doing that, we `ll discover the true gift of our existens, the life in itself!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, we could teach you norwegian.. we find it also interesting to learn a little bit about your language. maybe Hans Jörgen can teach you some balkan dances - or you can teach us? or we could cook for each other (Hans jörgen really need some help with the austrian pumpkins soup and apfelstrudel) Hope to share travelsexperiences and that we can be an inspiration each other!
