To experience as many cultures and as much of this world as we can.

ABOUT ME

In 2002 we sold our business of 35 years, our home of 30 years, gave away all of our things - including six truck loads of books - and set off with two bags to experience the world. For a while we had a base in Paris, but we sold it and are now nomads. We like to travel to see people and places, not just to see the tourist sights or follow the "circuits".

PHILOSOPHY

The planet is tiny, finite, and alone. We need to take care of it.

I peed off the great pyramid. Does that count? I walked every block of every street in Paris - it took three years. I was attacked by a Mastiff in Tibet. Whew!

There is nothing more that we like to share than the wonders of everything. I am especially interested in evolution and history. I'd like to write a book called "Marvin's ancestors - going all the way back to the first replication billions of years ago.
