I'm Maria from Manila, Philippines. I'm travelling to Bangkok from June 5 to 28. I have been sending applications to Workaway for volunteering tasks but seems I don't get any yet and my trip is approaching already.
Would anyone want to host me? I am willing to share with the electricity and water bill should you decide to let me in your house. I'm so nice to deal with, can sleep anywhere as long as it is safe and clean. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got to join the first ever Couchsurfing activity in CS Amazing Race in 2010 which we went crazy running and taking a bus/ train rides all over metro manila!
Second was a group meeting organized by this girl i so forgot the name sorry for her friend from ASEAN conducting surveys. Also a heritage conservation led by Boj was very great.
I have met Couchsurfers for coffee, one I brought to Intramuros, a couple I brought to a show etc. I have also experienced being a host and it was cool.
Most of all the greatest couchsurfing experiences is meeting these people personally and sharing anything with them.
Blogging, Social media, Startups, Entrepreneurship, Heritage and tourism, I love visiting museums and galleries
Music, Movies, and Books
Eat, Pray and Love by Julia Roberts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can help with simple tasks such as cleaning the house, decorating a bit, doing laundry (light dresses), go to groceries etc
Teach, Learn, Share
I blog a lot on my free time. I'm an advocate of heritage & tourism. On weekends I join talks and events related to Philippine history and tourism. I spend a lot online on Facebook, Twitter and my blog.
