CURRENT MISSION learn some wisdom ABOUT ME "WELCOME ANYWHERE YOU COME FROM!" (Mano Negra) I am addicted to food, wine, music, books, poetry, playing with children, friends, hugs, cinema, plants, photography, clowns, travels, sailing, zen meditation and yoga. I have worked as a teacher, guide, translator and interpreter. Now I am a qualified nurse and sailor. I also work as an actor for the local Tourist information office. I like to meet new people and speak foreign languages (mais les francophones sont aussi les bienvenus chez moi !). I travel to Brazil since 1997, I love this country, its people and Portuguese language. I live in La Rochelle since 2002, I deeply love my city-village and will always enjoy to go for an geomotional/historical ride with visitors. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Since October 2009, I animate the local group by organizing monthly meetings, participate in the moderation of our forum, meet people and help the newcomers... Do not hesitate to ask me for any question about the CS site! I also host some persons at home! I aim at creating and facilitating links between people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I practice unformal CouchSurfing for many years in France and mostly Brazil (where I learned what is hospitality and warmth). CouchSurfing changed my life and opened my heart.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Sail around the Iberian Peninsula. Organize philosophy workshops with young children. Manipulate a giant puppet in La Rochelle streets. Serve as a volunteer on an hospital-boat in Amazon. Sail with fishermen in the north coast of Brazil.

TEACH: I have been a teacher of French language for foreigners, a guide at the tourism office in my city, I like to cook; I can also teach zen meditation, basic guitar, astronomy, computing with Linux LEARN: I will always be happy to learn from your life, country, travels and experience... But I will also appreciate if you can teach me something about drawing, playing guitar, photography, or simply about yourself, being sincere.
