Fortunate to be able to travel for work. One of the best benefits is having the opportunity to meet interesting people, learn about cultures and try new foods. People appreciate the effort if you take the time to learn at least a few phrases of a language when you travel to another country. Born in the South and had the opportunity to live in Washington DC area which was amazing. Florida life now for 30 years+.

Open-minded, lifelong learner and infinitely curious about the world. Nudist here so my home is naked friendly / clothing optional for any other nudist naturist or couchsurfer willing to give it a try but not required. Host regardless of sexual orientation, all good.

I am looking for guests who are interested in a true Couchsurfing experience, in other words, hanging out and sharing stories. If you are simply looking for a place to crash and shower, this is not the place for you. My home is located 7 minutes to downtown Ft. Lauderdale by car, 10 minutes (walking distance) to Wilton Manors,10 minutes to beaches by car, slightly longer by bike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You can learn so much more about a country if you hang out with locals. Had the opportunity to connect with some great people by staying with and hosting others. Everyone is on a journey, I learn at least a little something new from every person I interact with. Please note that I do not host single women.

Went diving with sharks…on purpose 🦈
Bathe a seagull, take a great blue heron swimming, hand-feed baby squirrels. Wildlife rehabilitation.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach Spanish or Portuguese, little rusty with French but I can get by.
