About Me
Hi there! Only just resubscribed to couchsurfing, apologies for my appalling response rate! I'm in a bit of a hiatus while I move between Bristol and Vienna, so I will only be able to host in October and November, depending on how busy things get...! If not then maybe next year I'll see you in Austria ;)
Relatively recently moved from Paris to Bristol, and gradually settling in :) I'm a musician, I absolutely adore classical music but that's not to say I don't enjoy other styles too! Also into sailing, motorcycling, food and the outdoors.
Been on couchsurfing for yeeeeeaaars now! I travelled a lot back in 2010 and had a phenomenal time, couchsurfing all the way. Met some wonderful people and now want to do more hosting when possible to give back to the CS community :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do love to surf when travelling, so of course I do my best to host, too - can be difficult sometimes, but it's still something worth doing :) it's great to meet different people and get different perspectives and cultural insights.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any sorts of movies, really - it's all very mood dependent! That said, I love a good bank heist.
Books - rather ashamedly, I'm not as well read as I should be, but I'm trying to address the balance
Music - I am massively into classical, my favourites would probably be Mahler, Bach, R Strauss, Tchaikovksy, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, the list of composers just goes on and on and on! My favourite ever piece though, would have to be Mahler's Second Symphony. It's just so extraordinary, to me it just has such resonance with my own life experience and one day I WILL perform it, I have to!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's extremely difficult to choose, but twice I've saved a life with CPR, and I've been fortunate enough to see some incredible things when sailing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Think this is a pretty cool idea :)
I'd be happy to teach some music, be it reading, singing, conducting, general music theory and music history.
Also, I can teach you first aid. It wouldn't give you any sort of qualification you can use officially, but might come in handy if you ever come across an accident or heart attack or whatever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music, food, stories, laundry, relaxation!
