About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy this second chance of living that God has given to me

ABOUT ME

I'm a guy from Rio de Janeiro. I used to work as tour guide but now I'm graduated Fashion Design at the beginning of the carreer... Before that I also studied Literature and International Relations. I suffered a bike accident in May 2005...because of that I lost my right leg and I'm still recovering my left leg, so now I'm using a wheelchair to move myself. I'm still under treatment to be back walking again with a prosthesis... my life is tuff, but I still got life... Sadness? NOT AT ALL!!!
=D

PHILOSOPHY

I received from God a second chance for living, to rething my life... any average person would die in the conditions I experienced, but I didnt, so I better start acting right and enjoy better this life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I always tried to be in touch to people worldwide. It great to share my knowledge about my city ad country, and it's amazing to know about other cultures, other ways of living. Life is for making friends and exchange experience, so...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple years ago I hosted a japanese woman here in my bedroom for carnival days and it was fine... a puerto rican friend also came here once. To stay a couple days(or a couple time) ina typical local house is te real feeling of how the locals live. Hotels and hostels are good, but if your not under a local's roof, you don't feel the real thing.

Interests

I like to party, to go out at night and drink (but currently I'm not doing MUCH these things...), I enjoy also to have good conversation to foreigners about the cultural differences, the differece of life styles between countries...

I read a lot too...my knowledge comes from that, so....

About movies, I like a lot the brazilian and european productions...ah.. I LOOOOVE Documentaries..you can learn a lot from that about how other people lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-sunset on the Amazon
-sunset on Ipanema beach
-hanglide and paragliding over Rio de Janeiro
-carnival parade at the Sambadrome (in Rio de Janeiro)
-sunrise after a rave
-sunsrise during a party on Sugar Loaf
