About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just continue living life in all its glory and shades of blue and gray. There is no "must" in life. We are all gonna die, with our missions and goals. ;)

ABOUT ME
(Surfers, please read the full profile and keep your requests as detailed as possible. Include your rough timings of arrival and departure along with your general plan in the city so I could give you an answer and tell what to expect. Please don't treat CS as Airbnb or hotel. :))

My interests vary a lot but I'm always looking to do something new, stimulating or fun. Travel is just one part of it. Then there's spending time in nature with some physical activity like hiking, biking, kayaking etc. Idle time on some good book, film, music, art exhibitions or conversations with people over drinks. As I'm living in the very center of Wroclaw (Rynek/market square), city life is at easy disposal for exploring various art-cultural things happening around, along with partying-clubbing that I often engage into.

PHILOSOPHY

Existentialism. Nihilism. Absurdism. Zen mindfulness. Stoicism.

"In the end one experiences only oneself." (Nietzsche)

"Ah, make the most of what we yet may spend,
Before we too into the Dust descend;
Dust into Dust, and under Dust to lie
Sans Wine, sans Song, sans Singer, and--sans End!

Alike for those who for To-day prepare,
And those that after some To-morrow stare,
A Muezzin from the Tower of Darkness cries
"Fools! your reward is neither here nor there."

"Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life." (Omar Khayyam)

"If religion is only for heaven, patriotism for self-interest and knowledge for wealth, then I would like to be an infidel, traitor and ignorant. (Khalil Gibran)

"A thousand times I have ascertained and
found it to be true:
The affairs of this world are really nothing
into nothing.
Still though, we should dance." (Hafiz)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met, hosted and bonded with some really nice people who have traveled and lived in various parts of the globe. Became friends with them to visit or travel together. It's a small world, and you keep bumping into them again if you are a traveler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rather some good memories. Skydiving in Netherlands for my 30th birthday. Travelling to 8 countries on 8 weekends in 2017, despite getting my wallet and all cards stolen in Barcelona. The amazingly exotic Madagascar. White nights in Russia during FIFA 2018.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing life experiences and thoughts more than any skills or expertise in a particular subject. (Although I could share some knowledge about IT-computers, banking, various branches of philosophy)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A comfortable stay in my spacious apartment in the heart of the city. If I'm working during the day then I can tell you things to see and do around the city. When I'm free I can take you to my favorite places/areas that I frequent, often with my local friends.

Depends on what you'd prefer to do but there are options for everything in this lovely city.
