ABOUT ME

I have the mind of an engineer, but the heart of an artist. One of my favorite movies of all time is Dead Poets Society. In that film, there is a quote attributed to Henry David Thoreau that says:

"I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life ... to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived"

This is how I would like to live my life. Sometimes I lose sight of this, but I always try to come back to it. I hope that I'll have tasted as much of what life and this world has to offer before I leave it.

PHILOSOPHY

To seek beauty in all things. Find inspiration wherever you can. Live life with an open heart and mind. Try not to get too attached to things. Don't let fear, doubt or negativity control you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't call anything that I've done so far amazing. But I'm working on it. And I hope that being a part of this cooperative will help me along in this endeavor.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be willing to show someone interested in DJing the basics of how it's done, from mixing to music selection to how to read the crowd. As for what I'd like to learn, I'm trying to teach myself the guitar, so any suggestions from you musicians out there would be greatly appreciated.
