About Me

Open minded free spirit, willing to share and learn of new impressions, cultural, lifestyle and travel experiences from around the world.

I live 40km south of Rotorua and 40km north of Taupo in Reporoa the heart of the Universe! Lol, Oh and I live off the grid!

Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm, i contract to the local schools and community as a cultural music tutor and a session musician after in the evenings!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was referred to couchsurfing by a backpacking friend who she connected me onto the network in February 2015. I have now hosted over 200 backpackers and couchsurfers from 38 countries. Since April to the end of May 2015, i lost access to my first profile. Fortunately, i created another profile in July.

Because of our time together, we discovered the treasures hidden on our lands and shared impressions of our life and travel experiences.

I have enjoyed hosting on the couchsurfing network and meeting active positive people from around this great planet of ours.

Interests

I like adventure, arts, culture, healthy action, food, body and mind, spiritual, music, physical, recreation, sports, and because of couchsurfing, i plan to travel the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all types and styles of music.

I comprehend books that have attention to details with pictures would be preferred.

Documentaries and realistic movies are what I enjoy most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving from the city to the rural lifestyle and seeing nature in its natural form is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my maori cultural song dance and heritage, and am full of many skilful surprises!

I have two great ears for listening and learning of your exciting stories and impressions from your travels, families and home life.

I am happy to share traditional menus foods and cooking styles to fulfill the desired appetite.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer impressions and knowledge of our cultural heritage and site visits. Oh and bring a towel for the hot thermal pools or jump into the cold river beyond.
