ABOUT ME
hate this part......don't know how to describe me in few words. basically outgoing, but sometimes just want to stay at home and read book the whole day, basically like to make friends, but if the tone doesn't match, I will rather keep quite. always desire to see more, experience more, explore more, understand more, always push myself to the limit more in my limited life.
PHILOSOPHY
Since I was born in this world, MUST make it worth it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to offer my flat in Kolkata, India and Shenzhen, China, but since now I'm traveling, all I can do is to share my stories, pictures, and music.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a wonderful couchsurfing experience in Taiwan back in 2006. I went to Lanyu, a small beautiful island in the southeast of Taiwan, without any plan. The people who live there found me looking a place to dtay on the street, they brought me home and treated me like a family member. this was the first time I've been hosted, and that was before I joined Couchsurfing. I guess I was born with couchsurfer's spirit.
Interests
eat and sleep...seriously! other things like travel, read, movie, music...all kinds of stuff normal people would like. but as I grow older, I prefer activities which inspire me mentally. So recently I took lots course on line (like Coursera). The more I learn the more I feel ignorant...that's a life time work to do, to seek the absolute truth of the universe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
this is nothing about traveling, but certainly is the most amazing thing I've done. In eastern culture, we rarely say "I love you" to family members or even give them a hug. One day I realized, it would be so sad if my dad and my grandmother (almost 90 years old) never hug in their whole life. But it's weird to ask my father to do it out of nothing, so I decided to do it myself first. I still remembered the first time I've done that, it was so hard, I supposed to leave at 5 pm that day, but it took me another 1 hour of hesitation to take action. but once I did it, it was so naturally, I hugged her and said I love you, she hugged me and said I love you too, I cried, she cried too. I told her to eat well and exercise more, she told me to be safe back home. I feel so completed, it's like I've done something on my list "10 top things you must do before you die". after that day, every time when I visited my grandma (who lives with my uncle) with my dad, I would hug her and say "I love you". My dad was always only watching me doing this. After two years, he finally made his mind to take action himself too. When I watched my dad and my grandma hugged and said I love you to each other, which they never did before, I was so proud of myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play a little bit guitar and can sing few English songs. Since my major was computer science, I can handle some computer related problems. Finally, I am a good housekeeper, I am willing to do all dish-washing, house-cleaning things.
