First time in Cologne, where to work for the day, what to do?

Hi! I’m visiting Cologne to go to a concert on Thursday night, but i will arrive in the morning, so i’m looking for a place to work for the day, better if its cheap and quiet, any recommendations for that? Also, what do you recommend me to go visit during the day or the weekend?

Looking for an apartment in Köln from March to October 2024

Hello CS community! My name is Esteban and with my wife Ivana (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ivivis) we are going to live in Köln from March/April to October 2024. Ivana is a biologist, I´m a geologist and we are both argentinians. And as I am also a tour guide, I received a job offer to work doing guided tours for some months in such a beautiful city!

As we have always found amazing friends all over the world through Couchsurfing, we thought maybe the Köln community could help us get established in the city for some months. What we are looking for is an apartment to stay in the city or its surroundings.

We have already searched on the typical websites and now we are writing to you searching for local contacts. Especially because we are only staying from March/April to October 2024. So if you happen to know of an apartment or place for rent, or a friend that is leaving one, it would be a great help to us!

And of course whenever we arrive in Köln we can meet for a beer! :o) We love meeting new friends!!
