Turkish Language Schools

I've recently arrived in Istanbul and would like to start taking Turkish classes over the next few months, starting with at least one month of intensive courses. I've found a wide variety of prices for 1 month classes, from 6 lira to 50 lira per hour. Does anyone have any experience with ITI Istanbul, Dilmer, Kedicat, or Concept Languages? Or any other suggestions? Thank you much.

Thanks guys, maybe in the future I will consider a private teacher, but for now I’d prefer classes. There aren’t many reviews online for these schools and I’m a bit skeptical of some being false, so I was hoping somebody local (or a former student) knew the reputations better.

I have been studying for a while at Dilmer. I have just finished the 3rd level. I consider the school is very good and I join it every time I come to Istanbul. The atmosphere is perfect in the school. You meet many people from all over the world. Very well organized. The majority of the teachers are good as well. They have their own book for each level. The books is easy and well designed. I always join the intensive class which is from 9 to 1 daily for one month. Possibly the price is high comparing to other schools. I have tried many private teachers before but I found joining a school is way better. I have no experience in other schools unfortunately. Best of luck

Actually, I don't know that which Turkish class is god or bad. As for learning Turkish, when you and me have free time, we can meet up somewhere and talking Turkish and English. I would like to improve my English skills too. Like a win-win :)

Thanks everybody, I decided on Concept Languages because they have a small class size and the other schools seemed a bit more “cookie-cutter” if that makes sense. I will go mornings and have free time after, especially next week during the holiday, so if anyone wants to meet up for a tea and to practice English/Turkish/Spanish, just send me a message and we can arrange something.
