anyone coming from Vienna whom i can ride with? theres a cheap busline vienna-budapest (orange?) but i would rather chip in if someone is going on the same way.

Hey Ferdi,

we'll be coming from the Munich direction, so we'll pass by Vienna very close. We could easily do a little detour to pick you up. We'll leave Munich on Sunday morning (august 12th), so we would be around Vienna sometime in the afternoon.

But: unfortunately I have absolutely no clue how much space we'll have in the car. We're already 3 persons and as we're switching cars with a friend in Munich, I won't be able to tell if there's some space left for you until Saturday evening :-/

If you don't mind beeing a bit spontaneous we could exchange phone numbers and (hopefully) fix a time and place on Saturday evening (august 11th) :-)

Hi Guys,

You don't need to go to Budapest before the canoe tour. There will be a meeting point in Mosonmagyaróvár as well, which is much closer to Vienna then Budapest. The distance is about 100 km and there are many trains (Euregio and Railjet) between Vienna and Mosonmagyaróvár.

Hi Ferdi & Christine! I'm also looking for a ride from Munich. So if your car happens to be full, it would be nice if we (@Fredi) could at least take the way from Vienna to Mosonmagyarovar together?! I haven't checked the bus connections yet, but it's also easy to go there by train. If you have a free seat left, I would be happy to join you till Vienna and switch there with Ferdi ;-) Greetings Jan
