please advise on local budget tours from salerno

I am reena from cape town, south africa. I am travelling to south of italy. taking a train from milan. Arriving in Salerno on 22nd of march. I have a ticket back to Rome on 27th March. I am hoping to base myself at Salerno and do some nice tour of the south. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Well when you arrive in Salerno from the main station you can arrive in Concordia Plaza and take a little ship that can provide you a nice way of the costiera Amalfitana.

There is also the Vallo del Cilento where you can eat a lot of awesome food and see beautiful landscapes.

I'm Corrado, I'm living in Salerno; in 5 days based inn Salerno you have only to choose your destinations: at first ,you have to visit the town ,the historical center,the norman castle up on the hill. At second steps I think it will be cool to visit with a cheap train or local bus Pompei, old roman city destroyed from Vesuvio volcano ,most famous all around the world and Paestum,one of the first old greek colony in the south of Italy with one the most wonderful Temple's valley in the south of Mediterraneo. Also I need to talk about the wonder of ancient Velia resort,one of the most important place for the civilisation all around the globe. If you need to discover the 2 amazing coasts with the cheap ships on the 2 harbours you have to discover the magic islands like Capri,Ischia,Procida and the Amalfi's coast,Amalfi,Positano,Ravello, is Heaven on Earth scenarios. Also another magic coasts is Cilento,from Agropoli to Camerota and more,with Palinuro,the pearl of the coast. Considere the magic of Naples in less than 1 hour of cheap bus/train.
