Charlotte is the best place in the world to live so many things to do. Downtown is great . beach is 4hrs away and mountains 4hrs away. If you need someone to show you around I will be glad too!

I second what Alan said, definitely much more entertainment and food in Charlotte, I used to live in Winston Salem and I can assure you Greensboro is MUCH closer to High Point than Charlotte. If you have a family you are moving with i think you would be much happier in Greensboro with less traffic to fight cheaper everything and a much shorter work commute. If you're single or it's just you and a significant other you may want to try Charlotte as there is much more in the way of entertainment/activities as previously mentioned. Hope this helps!

Definitely helps. It's just me and my two shih tzus and i don't mind a commute as long as my quality of life is maintained. I'm focused on uptown Charlotte at this point based off further research. I need to be in the midst of city life. I commute 2 hrs each way through nyc now and listen to audible and i don't mind
