Hola Ruby, para ser sincero, si te lo puedes evitar mejor no pases por Nicaragua. La policía anda en todos lados y a la menor provocación, comentario o queja se ponen a joder. En Managua las rotondas están llenas de gente afin al gobierno y es la misma cosa, se siente mucha inseguridad. ¨

No está inseguro, inseguro cuando habían tranques y protestas violentas. Pero ahora hay algunas marchas por parte del gobierno, pero son pacíficas. Y en los lugares turísticos no pasa nada. Todo está normal. No tan normal porque en realidad el turismo bajo por lo mismo que todo el cree que está peligroso pero no es así.
¿No está inseguro, inseguro pero no está normal ya que no hay turismo?....ok. Lee lo que dice la recomendación de viaje de los gringos. No podes invitar a alguien a un país de una forma tan irresponsable.
A cuantos turistas a visto que les a pasado algo ??? No está normal porque la economía quedó inestable e inseguro puede ser como en cualquier otro país de Centroamérica.
Un perfil con una foto, sin validaciones, ni comentarios, recien creado y con discurso progobierno y con errores de ortografía...nada confiable y huele a charco....
Oye y es que tú mantienes a la defensiva o qué ?? Yo no estoy para nada a favor de este gobierno, pero en lo que estoy en contra es que sigamos haciendo ver mal al país ya que suficiente hemos tenido con aguantar tanta represion. Obviamente no voy a dar recomendaciones de un lugar si estuviera como estuvo hace unos meses, que no se podía transitar por ningún lado, ni de día ni de noche. De echo mi perfil lo cree hace varios meses y si no lo he actualizado es porque no lo he necesitado. Y me encantaría que me dieras clases de ortografía y gramática para aprender de tu perfección.

Lo siento si mi comentario te ofendió pero también dices cosas que me hacen brincar de la silla, por ejemplo, cuando comparas la inseguridad de Nicaragua como la de cualquier otro país Centroamericano. Si fuese yo extranjero, de hecho que ni se me ocurre ir a Nicaragua. Al hacer esta aseveración estás diciendo que en Nicaragua hay una tasa de homicidios similar a la de Honduras o El Salvador (42 homicidios por cada 100 mil habitantes, similiar a zona de guerra), o cercana a la de Guatemala y con suerte parecida a la de Costa Rica que es bien alta. Yo estuve de visita en Nicaragua la semana pasada, me paró la policia por nada y la primera pregunta es si ando armas en el auto. Me bajan del auto, me hacen abrir todo, y por último al policia se le ocurre decir que ando tomado. Me amenazan con hacerme prueba de alcohol varias veces, les digo que la hagan (quién anda tomado en martes a las 6 de la tarde), siguen insistiendo esperando mordida....hasta que finalmente me dejan ir.
No puedo decir que las cosas están normal después de lo que vi y viví la semana pasada.
Oye gracias, generalmente no podemos ver la basura de nuestros ojos, solo las de los demás. Así que no me había dado cuenta que tan mal estaba mi ortografía. Obviamente la policia de Nicaragua siempre a sido corrupta pero también es increíble que a pesar de ser unos corruptos, Nicaragua gozaba de ser el pais más seguro de Centroamérica.
cuando hablo comparando Nicaragua a los otros países de Centroamérica es porque tú así la haces ver en tu comentario. Como si estuvieras igual o peor que ellos. Pero aún así en esos países hay turismo.
Está muy bien para visitar, si la economía y el turismo está bajo, pero está muy seguro.
Las cosas ya estan mas calmas. Yo misma aloje a una muchacha CS hace un mes . The recomiendo dejar acompanarte de un guia turistico o tour operadora. Hay buenas ofertas. Bienvenida!!
Te recomiendo que evites pasar por Nicaragua, aparentemente la violencia ha disminuido un poco pero es impredecible que días hay o no hay ataques a gran escala.
Igualmente muchos países han emitido alertas de viaje para territorio Nicaragüense por la inseguridad que vive el país.
Mi recomendación es que lo evites a toda costa hasta que todo el problema termine.

I live in Granada, and the Situation is totally normal and harmless. It's just, that people are a bit discouraged, because many don't have much work, and lack money, and neighbours help out one another, so everybody has food. The Restaurants and Hotels are the most important contribution to the economy here, so no tourists really sucks. You can feel in some areas a general discouragement, and this can make you tired and tear a bit of your strength. Thats about it, but I admit, it might not be the super fancy vacation experience. On the other hand, as a gringo and tourist, you are bringing back hope here, and even if it sucks some strength, it's an important and valuable contribution we get back to normal and happy living here, and so people appreciate you very much for visiting and coming back, kind of a pioneer. At the moment I see like maybe four tourists everyday in the park central, when I pass by, when before it surely was about 100 daily. But dangerous is something totally different, it's not dangeous, it's just that you carry a bit of our weight of sadness with us when you come. I still need to admit, that Granada is about the safest city in whole Nicaragua. Sometimes I hang aroun in Managua, and I had never any problems, except also for feeling tired and a bit discouraged. Two months ago I had a rather funny experience here in Granada, but that was rather because sometimes I'm a quite crazy guy in confronting people. There was a huge treck of Sandinists having a demonstration in the park central, and as in April they did rob a lot of shops of my friends, and I only knew it from hearsay, and had been out of the country then, and never met Sandinists before, and we Christians had a hard and entiering time of praying and fasting for everything going back to normal, while those Sandinists obviously just celebrated party. So my homeless girlfriend and I were praying there in the park, and those fellows showed up, and I did not really know them, only from my prejudices, so I shouted at them: "Go to the ant, you lazy guy, and learn wisdom..." . It was quite funny, as the 200 folks started shouting at me: Bitch, Vagina... If I had gotten afraid, could have been dangerous, but I'm used to situations like this, so this was below kindegarten level, it really started getting fun, and I realized, hey, those folks their not really mean, they're like my old punky friends back from the 90'ties in Europe, and I started getting amused. So I shouted to them, they should choose one of them so we could talk seriously (I do preach a lot on the streets, so this is standard situation for me) and one of them was quite moderate. Then they started to play cool latino music, and I enjoyed the music really and so we all danced together, and everybody had fun. Maybe some week later some guy passed by on his motorbike and shouted "bitch", and I shouted something funny back and everybody was laughing. Jesus gives me a lot of funny and humoruous inspiration in such situations, I also don't know, how all this jokes really come to my mind, sometimes I think God must have a lot of humour, after all humor was His invention I think. So thats a bit the situation, it's really harmless, you can make friends with the Sandinists, with the others too, you can shout at two hundred at once and end up dancing Latino, well, welcome to Nicaragua. Police is very friendly, as long as you're not afraid of them, and so, when you meet them you just give thanx to God for them and bless them, maye you have a little talk with them and thank and encourage them for doing their work, that is not always easy and can be dangerous, and they appreciate you so much and are happy for someone giving thanx, so they grow your best pal next to Jesus. Problem is, lot's of Nicaraguans fear them and hate them and speak bad about them, so they treat those folks bad in return. But if you pray for them and give them hope and thanx, they get very happy and very friendly, to the extend they're happy anytime they see you. That's Nicaragua, we're kind of like kids, so be nice and kind and you receive a lot of love, from everybody. Might be Managua is a bit tougher, or also Leon was rather tough. Masaya is very discouraged but not so tough, it is one of the ecenomical strong centres that suffer a lot.
