I have a campsite in Lower Pines reserved for Friday, Aug 29-30, and there is space available if anyone needs a place to crash.

I am going this weekend to the Glacier Point Star Party and will look for a first come, first served campsite at Bridalveil Creek campground, so there will be space at the Lower Pines campsite if anyone is interested.

You will have to send me a message on CS and I can send you the information for the site and a copy of the reservation.

The program is Friday night through Sunday nights. If you want to catch the program Saturday and Sunday nights, you should also consider getting to Bridalveil Creek campground early Saturday morning to try to get one of the first come, first served sites.

This is one of my favorite experiences at Yosemite. You are up at 7200 feet with a clear view of the area and dark skies.

The sunset Ranger program begins at 7pm, and the Stars over Yosemite program begins at 8pm. The Sacramento Valley Astronomers will bring their big telescopes for the public to view celestial objects.
