Hoi nice people from Groningen!! I've just recently joined CS community as I'm planning new adventures in this beautiful city :D I'm looking for some advice to find a room for 5 months (renting it obviously), and I haven't been able to find anything yet... I'm starting to get nervous as I have to start my Erasmus at the end of this month. I've already checked a huge number of webs. Do you know anyone who want an open minded house mate with a empty room? Or do you have any advice of what can i do? Thank you all. By the way, anyone up for a drink in a couple of weeks? :DD

You can also try https://kamernet.nl/, you can put it on English as well! The only disadvantage is that you have to pay in order to respond to offers (if I'm right), but it could be worth a try!

Hi Inez, I live in Groningen and have space enough. So, if you cannot find anything to rent, you are welcome to start your time here living in my house. It will be my "garden room". Am still working on getting the separate shower connected to this room in working order but that should be done soon. The house has only one kitchen so that we will have to share. Am working during the day, so then you would have the house for your self. And if it works out fine, then probably you can stay here all the time. My house is about 10 minutes by bike from the city centre

Meanwhile if you need I can offer you a couch / empty room to crash in when you arrive here if you dont already have a room. It will be the same room which is currently up for rent.

I would advice checking the website funda.nl, they some room avalible for you. If you can't find anything in time you could check-in 'The Student Hotel' it's a lot more expensive but al least you have a room for some time. I live in groningen and you could stay with me for a couple of days until you find a room.
