Such a pity I didn't go, mostly because it's expensive, but just before he died I find an affordable trip in January. I'll see if es possibile.

Try, get there quickly. There are now flights from the U.S. , better to get there as soon as possible before the yankees screw it up for all of us.

I did manage to go last summer, many ways it was annoying (how locals always want to rip you off) but all in all it was wonderful. Havana is absolutely magical.

For cheap flights it's a good idea to check Tui / Thompson last minute flights to Varadero or Cayo Coco, flying to Havana is always more expensive.
