Hikes in mid April. Any great trails & railways available in Interlaken?

I'm a visitor form Japan. I'm thinking to visit Interlaken for hike trail on mid April, but of course the issues still remain on available trails & railways. Does anyone know any great place to visit in this season?

Hi! I can really recommend the Schynige Platte to First hike. First take the train to Wilderswil, from there the cog railway to Schynige Platte. Take a train early in the morning, it‘s very crowded. Up there enjoy the fantastic sight to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the lake of Thun and a lot more mountains. The hike takes you about 6 hours, but it‘s absolutely worth the effort, the sight is amazing. From First you take the cable car to Grindelwald and then the train back to Interlaken. http://www.wandersite.ch/Tageswanderung/744a_Bern.html

Hi thinks for your recommendation! How do you think the weather will be? Is it possible to go hiking on this season?

Of course you will be able to do some hikes! The weather can be like everything. Sometimes we have like 20°C and sometimes just 5-10°C. Be prepared for every weather ;). https://www.wetter.de/klima/europa/schweiz-c41/april.html I'm sure you will need a raincoat sometimes, but there will be some sun as well. I think April has the most changing weather from all twelve months.
