-oct 8 morning = solar decathlon in irvine http://www.solardecathlon.gov/ then -oct 8 afternoon = deep creek hot springs (my fave in usa!) kind of en route to JTMF -oct 9-11 JTMF (vol & go free or buy tkt) http://www.joshuatreemusicfestival.com/oct_fest.html -oct 12 maybe more deep creek yo! afterward, socal or SF.

i can rent a car cheaply.
