Introducing - Footpath of Life
Hey guys,
I just want to say hi and introducing myself to the group. In March next year I will start walking around the world and planting trees for people who lost their lifes through suicide. the project name is Footpath of Life - www.footpath-of-life.com - . It is based on my own story, as my boyfriend took his life last year on eastern and once I couldn´t go on any more too - but well, the universe seems to have other plans with me. In the gay community suicide is something we hide ... too bad for our happy party life but in fact, the numbers of victims are way higher than in the rest of the population. So I hope a bit to find supporters in our community too. I am here at couchsurfing with the hope, that some of you will support me, once I am on the road around the globe, with a bed, with a soup or maybe yourw own tree and with the hope, that some of you will pass this project on to people, who lost somebody, so they can have the chance to become part of this really big project. Everything will be documented via the Internet and via the Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, youtube, Flicker) – and it would be a great help too, if you could connect on facebook & co and here at couchsurfing and keep an eye on what will happen.
