There is parking near Vijecnica (City Hall) and another one opposite of it. But none of them is free. Of course its possible to find place to leave your car for free, but how long you would stay?

basically just get the local mindset if I can say so.. see an empty spot in the street where you see other cars parked - just pay attention there's no sign not to park, and dont block someones garage/entrance/pass etc. basically just don't do something stupid, and I guess you'll be fine. also, the further up/down those streets you go I think you might have better chances of finding a spot. don't go too far though... and yeah, you should do in on the left bank of the river, there are tiny streets if youre lucky youll find a spot. I don't think you can find any free on the right side

There is a parking lot right across City Hall (on the left bank of Miljacka). It's safe like almost all parking lots.
