First time to Costa Rica with 2 other friends, visiting Monteverde, arenal/la fortuna and San Jose. Would love to meet and explore with other travelers or if anyone has any recommendations on places to go/see.

Dude, no one has answered you , so unfair. ... Anyway im here. Look, recommendations maybe you should take a look at the free hot springs that the locals know in "La Fortuna" ask the locals for the best place with free hot springs and you can spend the whole day if you want to. Then, you can also ask the taxi drivers or at the bus stops, with the locals, about the best Costa Rican food restaurants but cheap. You will be amazed with what you can find.

Small recommendations, do not ask taxi drivers for directions or to take you to a place, they will always charge you much more than normal for being a tourist and they will tell you the wrong address to charge you money. Always ask directions in small supermarkets, bus stations with the locals or in any store. it's not necessary to know spanish, someone will help you, you will see.
