You can get Uber from the airport to San Salvador, you can take a bus. In San Salvador you can take a bus to el tunco.

Thank you! Do you think I could get an uber from the airport to El Tunco? Also do you know if I could do it using airport wifi? I may not have access to data.

Hi Nadir, I recommend to use Uber I guess it's cheapest than other taxis and are very safe and comfortable, don't worry about language, we are very ingenious, but just try to looking for your destination by name when you sue for Uber trip. And tell the driver the name of your hotel or hostal, and of course they make trips to El Tunco but I'm not sure if they do from there to San Salvador, I guess the hotel or hostal can help with that

Thank you Gabriela! Just so I understand right, is there Uber in El Tunco? And do you have any recommendations on how I could visit Santa Ana or Tazumal from El Tunco?

Uber will get you there and it’s the cheapest + safest way. Enjoy your stay ! If you want to hang out, I could show you around some cool places.

Thank you, Fernando! I guess Uber is getting all the votes! I'm still figuring stuff out but I should have time to chill. Do you live around El Tunco( because that's where my hostel is at)?

If youre having trouble with Uber when you arrive ask for where you can take the bus 102-A. It will take you to El Tunco. Some cabs can take you as well but they will charge like $20. While youre here visit other beaches like El Zonte, Mizata, El palmarcito, El sunzal, El cuco and Las Flores.
