Where to buy vinyl records in london

Hello I´m a traveler from Costa Rica and I´m passing through London from September 20-22 and then at October 14-16, so I don’t have much time but I definitely want to go to a couple of good old used records places, the kind that only the true inhabitant can recommend. So I will appreciate the info, or if someone want to come along, I will try to stay at the central part of London, so something around that area would be great! Many thanks in advance!

Another thing you have to be very mindful are fake records. Market stalls with records are very common to have fake copies of fake records, i have come across a few.

There is no single way of telling if a record is fake and some fakes are very very good. Be mindful of coloured or pictured records from well know artists. Especially the price is low. Although you can find picture and coloured discs on good prices, it's one of the most common types of fakes as it attracts interest from many people and in particular new to collecting. Check the labels to be printed correctly - no spellings, alignment. it is also worth checking the record number on discogs. If you see a record that you know is probably worth a lot of money but is sold cheaply, probably something is wrong. Unless there is a legal re-print of course
