Exploring Madison!

I am heading up to Madison tomorrow, will be arriving by bus around noon, and will be there until Sunday afternoon. I was wondering if anyone wants to hang out? I'm down for anything fun and would love to see your town from your perspective.

I won't be in town yet, unfortunately; that said, while in town, you should definitely take a walk around the Capitol Square and look at all of the beautiful architecture there. If sweets are your thing, there's some pretty exceptional Ice Cream Shops on State St., which is the main drag of Madison downtown that leads right to the UW-Madison Campus. Incidentally, the campus is worth a gander, too--truly beautiful old buildings, and (I imagine) only lightly crowded this time of year.

Yes, I agree with Sean Patrick Mulroy

Also, go to the Chazen & the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. They're both free museums, & have excellent collections
