Hobbiton Movie Set - should I buy ticket with Meal Combo or it is not worth it?

Is this meal anything special or just regular? Or I can just eat somewhere else the same meals and just enjoy tour only (much cheaper).

2 (Tol)KEEN trampers looking for Rideshare from WELLINGTON to TONGARIRO Crossing to HOBBITON this weekend or next week! Then back to Wellington...

Hi folks,

Me and my wee brother are doing a tiki tour from Paraparaumu ( 1hr north of Wellington) to Turangi to do the Tongariro Crossing. We're couchsurfing in Turangi and you'd be welcome too as there's heaps of space.

The weather's perfect for hiking this Fri/Sat/Sun, not too sure about next week, it is NZ weather afterall...

We'll stay 2 nights there, do the Crossing, and then head to Hobbiton, Matamata. Then be heading back down to Wellington.

If you have space for us in your car or van for any parts of the journey and want to join us on both or one of those adventures, then please message me so we can chat more!
