hi guys, could you recommend good place to eat in Nantes - where locals like to go. Better if they dont have menue in English - we will study French for good food! :)

Hi, there are many places downtown to eat local food. If you have heard of "galettes" and "crèpes", you should go to "le vieux quimper". Typical of brittany food. For other french food, I could suggest you "Chez maman", close to the castle. Bon appétit :)

Je recommande également L'IVRESSE pour l'atmosphère et les gens cool. Jamais mangé là-bas.
Les restos où j'aime aller: MADEMOISELLE B. -cuisine raffinée, déco ancienne et chaleureuse, service naturel LE COUP FOURRE -c'est un bar, non, c'est un resto, non, c'est un salon de thé, non, c'est une salle de concert... c'est tout à la fois, et c'est bien! (et on y mange bien)
Les restos où je suis allée une fois et j'ai adoré: LE SHELTER -excellent rapport qualité/prix le midi LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES -cuisine raffinée
Une valeur sûre: LES TABLES DE NANTES. Les restos présents dans ce guide sont vraiment bien décrits et le choix de prix, de styles et de quartiers est laaarge!

Hello, Si tu veux manger un très bon couscous marocain pas cher je te conseille "Le petit Paris" à côté de gare nord. Le patron est super sympa et il cuisine de très bons couscous et tajines. Ses patisseries orientales maison sont à tomber! Fred
Depend on what you wanna eat but because i'm french, i seldom go to the restaurant to eat french food ^^ so when i'm out and looking for a cheap place to eat, i often go to these places :
fast food :" La rose des vents" they sell good kebab less than 5€
asian food : "Yum Yum", only for lunch, i recommand you their Bo Bun, healthy, tasty and quite cheap (less than 10€) for a plate. It's probably not the best asian restaurant in Nantes , but good location and all the meals are delicous (yeah i tried all ahaha)
oriental : "Le pamir", but it's a real restaurant so price are quite high but really nice and friendly staff
Vous pouvez aller "Au plaisir" rue Léon Blum, cuisine maison... Egalement au "Picolo", rue Mazagran, où l'on sert des vins naturels et une excellent cuisine du marché
